Version 1.2 — last updated September 12, 2026.
1. Acceptance and minimum age
By creating an account or using CPAPCalm, you accept these terms and state that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity. Professional accounts are individual and may be used only by authorized people.
2. Service nature
CPAPCalm organizes therapy data, reports, diary entries, questionnaires, educational content, and communication between patients and their care team.
CPAPCalm does not make clinical recommendations and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, prescribe, change therapy, or replace a professional's decision. Do not change pressure, mask, equipment, or medication without guidance from your care team. Contact local emergency services in an emergency.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
- Provide accurate information and protect passwords and authentication codes.
- Report suspected access promptly.
- Do not bypass controls, access unauthorized data, probe vulnerabilities without permission, upload malware, or infringe third-party rights.
- Organizations and professionals must have the authority, registrations, and legal grounds needed to enter patient data.
4. Content and AI
Users retain rights to submitted content and allow it to be processed only to provide and protect the service within the disclosed purposes.
Calculations, charts, and questionnaires are informational. Professional AI features, when enabled, only organize or neutrally transform information. Every clinical interpretation, instruction, and decision is made and owned by an identified healthcare professional.
5. Availability and termination
We may maintain, secure, and change the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Use may be suspended for security, legal, or material terms violations.
Users may request closure. Deletion is subject to clinical, tax, security, and legal-claim retention described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Patient-clinic relationship and limitations
The clinic/professional owns the care relationship, team qualification, interpretation, clinical response and emergency channels. The patient must confirm the linked organization. Imported data may be incomplete, corrupted or affected by device time/configuration and should be checked against the source and care team.
7. Intellectual property and privacy
CPAPCalm software, brand, interfaces and owned content remain protected. These terms grant no ownership or right to unlawful reverse engineering/exploitation. Personal-data processing follows the Privacy Policy; notice of that policy is distinct from accepting these terms or granting a specific consent.
